Simplex Investment Advisors Inc. (SIA) and SIA’s wholly owned subsidiaries Simplex Real Estate Management Inc. (SRM) (Note 1) and Simplex REIT Partners Inc. (SRP) (Note 2) (the three companies are hereinafter collectively referred to as the “SIA Group”) have decided today to make the following trade name changes, effective January 1, 2018.
The SIA Group has been expanding business domains and strengthening the financial base and growth base of the investment corporations for which assets are being managed, leveraging the credibility, wide range of information, strength in business creation, etc. of Mizuho Trust & Banking Co., Ltd., which has been the parent company since December 2015, in addition to the abundant management track record and know-how on real estate asset management that the SIA Group has accumulated to date.
As a result of the trade name changes, even more investment opportunities will be created for customers by further leveraging group strengths as a member of the Mizuho Financial Group, which aspires to be a comprehensive financial consulting group, and thereby aim for further expansion of business domains and growth of the investment corporations for which assets are being managed.
